December 2021: Dr Kamran Qureshi’s talk on Intersex Representation in English Language Feature Films
Dr Kamran Qureshi is an award-winning British film and television director and academic. He talked about his recent research about Creative-Critical exploration of Intersex characters in English Language Films. His work on intersex includes research on US television drama series, English language feature films, Indian Cinema, Transgender Act 2018, Australian Film vs TV, along with directorial experience of telemovie Murad (2003), and 32-part TV series Moorat (2005) and he is working on his new feature film, Only Love Matters, the first movie in cinema history on intersex subject set in Britain and also creating research database of Intersex related art forms, including Films, TV, Theatre, Radio, and literature.
